Famous Guest
August has been the month of Celebrities!! I don't want to name drop, but I will, as a side note I've had the privilege of meeting each and every single one of these guests too!! First we had the Wiegert brothers that I told you about earlier but that was in July. Then it was Sandra Day O'Connor, the judge. About a week after her visit Clay Walker came and put on a little concert in our upstairs bar. He is country music singer, I'd never heard of him.... Then we had Jerret Stoll and Scott Hartnell, hockey players!!! They were really cool and so nice. It feels like there was someone else.... but I can't think right now. I think it was some golf pro....maybe.
Work Work Work
That's right all I do is work! Lately I've been working between 55-60 hours a week, because we are so under staffed. The pay checks have been nice, but I haven't had time to have a life. LOL
Along with being way under staffed in all areas we have been full every single night since 7-24. We are running this amazing special and the people have responded and booked up all of our rooms until the end of October. It's pretty amazing if you think how far people have to travel to get here and with our club being so new. I love being a part of this company! It is so much fun and working the extra hours doesn't bother me because I enjoy my job so much. But one of my co-workers (Mellissa) and I joke that we are going to take the rest of the year off and start again in January. She is working even more than I am, if that's possible.

New House
Our new house is so cute! I really like it, it will be nice to have until we can build what we want. It is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 baths with a loft upstairs and a big fenced in yard. Brand new kitchen cupboards and appliances. Actually the whole house has been updated just a little over a year ago. It has an open floor plan that I love. Bedrooms are small, which we both dislike but it's not forever. We have a basement but Justin calls it a cave, and not in a good way. It's practically unusable, along with our shed/garage. So it has almost no storage, but I'm hoping to change that. If I clean the basement and if Justin fixes up the shed our storage problem will be solved. But we haven't had time or energy to do any of this yet. We are planning on doing it in the winter, so if you want to help give us a call haha. What else, I don't know it super cute so you should come check it out!!
Offically moving to Valentine
After the honeymoon...haha we turned all of our focus on to getting our new house. And once that was a done deal we next had the task of moving all of our stuff...............and oh boy do I mean task. We have stuff all over the place, we've moved so much in the last couple years and we just stuff spread all over the place. But now we should have almost everything in our new house. It took 2 trips with a trailer down to Lincoln to get all of our stuff. How on earth do 2 20 year olds have so much stuff I don't know. Wait yes I do we are pack rats! But it is our goal to go through everything and get rid of things we don't need. I've been doing really good, I've got 2 (almost 3) boxes of clothes to give away and a huge box of kitchen stuff to give away. Which is nice because our friend just moved into his first house by himself and our cousins just married got their first place too! So I'm going to see if they need anything and if not I would like to have a garage sale but if not I can always give it to the Good Will. Hopefully we don't buy back our stuff later on in life, lol we like shopping at the Good Will. But I am just glad to have our stuff in Valentine. I have been living their since the end of April literally out of a suitcase. So we now live at 428 N. Hall Street, Valentine, NE 69201. A new chapter of my life has just begun!!
Justin's surprise
For Justin's birthday present I got him Bowling For Soup tickets and didn't tell him until we landed in Omaha and the concert was that night. Actually we drove straight from the airport to the concert, we looked lovely. The reason why this is so cool is because this is our favorite band and their concert 5 years ago was our first date. We've seen them every time they've come within a 6 hour radius and we dance to one of their songs at our wedding for our first dance. We've even had the pleasure of meeting them and they are the nicest, coolest, funniest group of guys ever! And like always they delivered one heck of a show, it was awesome. Another blessed birthday!
Harry Potter Holiday aka honeymoon
If I had to choose one word to describe our honey moon it would have to be "magical". It was perfect, better than I could have ever expected. I will do a little recap of our trip, but if you want a full detail schedule read my earlier post about it.
We flew out of Omaha and into Memphis for a connection and then on to Orlando, and all of our flights were fantastic. No delays, no bad weather, no turbulence it was great. The Memphis air port was pretty cool, the terminal we were in was Elvis themed so I loved that! But the Orlando airport was even cooler! It had a Hyatt Hotel in it, and it had stores and restaurants too. We landed in Orlando at 10:50 pm eastern time and I had read about this bus that takes you to your hotel for a fare of $2 per person, but they stopped running buses at 11:30pm. So we rush down stairs to get on this bus, turns out that was only for certain nights and they hadn't updated the schedule online so I didn't know that. But it was all good, we found a shuttle that took us to our hotel for $30. Totally worth it too, took us straight to the hotel and the driver was super nice and so helpful. So we arrived at our hotel around 12 something, checked in and ordered Papa John's pizza, my favorite! We ate dinner (at 1am) and then went to sleep because we had an early morning ahead of us.
The next morning I got up super early, I couldn't sleep I was so excited! I woke Justin up around 7am and we got ready to go to the park. We had to take a taxi to the park because we had missed our early shuttle (coming in at 12am the shuttle office was closed and the front desk guy told me the wrong time) but we took a taxi and actually beat our shuttle there.
When you enter the park you first have to go through what is called "The City Walk" and it consisted of restaurants, shops, live entertainment and a multi-plex. The City Walk was so cool and it pumped me up to get to the park, because I thought if the free stuff is this cool how awesome is the park going to be. We went to the multi-plex and saw the Last Airbender there, it was huge it had at least 3 floors. And every movie they had was shown in 3d and not 3d. We also ate at one of the restaurants, Buba Gump's. It was really good and I love Forrest Gump so it was neat to see all of the decorations. I wish we would have done more on the City Walk, but we didn't know about some of the stuff until the last day. Every night they have live music or a DJ and they have a giant dance.
Anyways back to my story, so we get to the entrance of Universal Island of Adventure and I am almost in tears I'm so excited/happy. Justin had to keep me from running and screaming through the park. On a side note the way to get into the park is super cool, they scan your finger print. Then their system remembers your print that way if anyone stole our tickets they couldn't get into the park. Also you used your finger print to rent stuff like lockers inside the park. So after the finger scan we entered the park and were told to go to the velvet ropes. It was so cool being a VIP. The reason we went through the ropes is because we had special Harry Potter passes. They got us in to the park early everyday and almost 2 hours early to the Harry Potter section. Non VIP had to wait in a line, that seriously wrapped all the way around the park, till 9 or so. But they would only allow so many people into the HP section at one time so you could be waiting in that line for hours before you were able to enter the section. Then you would have to wait another 2 or 3 hours just to get into the stores or ride the rides. But not us, we were VIPs, haha. So walking to the HP section we had to pass through 2 other "lands" or themed sections of the park. It felt like it took for ever to get back there and the other lands were so cool and we wanted to take pictures but we couldn't stop because we were so excited for HP!! I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the Hogwarts Express, I couldn't believe it everything was so real looking. We took pictures in front of the train but then we had to go to the 3 broom sticks for breakfast because we had reservations.

The 3 broom sticks was incredible and they used part of the set from the movie to make it! I don't know why I'm even writing about it because words can not describe how wonderful everything was. We were there for breakfast and on Justin's bday (how cool!) and I ordered a traditional English breakfast and Justin ordered pancakes. Haha oh and of course Pumpkin Juice and Butterbeer!
After breakfast we went up to Hogwarts Castle :) Looking at my pictures sometimes the castle looks fake but in person it's magical. And not only do you get to see it you actually get to walk the halls of Hogwarts, plus there is a ride!! I do not have enough time to post all of the pictures of the castle on here (or of our whole honey moon for that matter) but if you want to see more I posted them on my facebook page.
After playing around in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for a couple of hours, we decided to check out the other lands in the park. Plus it was getting so crowded there! The whole rest of the park was decorated and themed just like HP, it was incredible and Justin and I had a blast!
The next day we went to the other park Universal Studios Florida.

I'm back and I've missed you
Sorry.... It's like I said before I have a very busy and exciting life which makes for a great blog, but time to actually write down this exciting life has been scarce. I went away on my honeymoon and got out of my habit and well you know, takes 30 days to make a habit and only one to break it.
So this is just a pre post for the up coming post which I will do separately so they having appropriate titles, happy reading.
