Molly's Bachelorette

Molly is getting married June 4th this year and a couple weekends ago we went out and celebrated!!
There were 12 girls and we some how managed to all fit in my suburban, shhh don't tell the police. It was so much fun!!
First we all meet up at Kristin's house (in North Platte, NE), to open gifts and meet everyone. Molly got some really awesome gifts, I think she got over $100 in Victoria Secret gift cards along with some other items that I think Brooks will really enjoy. After that we went out to dinner at Margaritas, it was so yummy! We all got fancy drinks too, even me the PD, but mine didn't have alcohol it just looked pretty.

After dinner we loaded everyone up and went "bar hopping", lol some people had to sit on the floor in the trunk but hey everyone was safe. We went to 3 bars total and I think everyone had a blast. Nothing too dramatic or crazy happened. Except at the last bar we went to our waitress tried to make us clean up someone else's puke in the bathroom. If you want the whole story ask Kari, she tells it the best! Other than that my favorite quote from the night was "Here comes the hot b**** parade, I hope they throw candy"

Past few months

I know I was MIA on my blog for a few months..... So here is a time line of what Justin and I have been up to this year.

January: Justin fed cattle and I had morning sickness. Yep that pretty much sums up Jan. not a very exciting month for us.

February: I got a job working at Butler's Vet. Clinic and also went back to work out at the Prairie Club. I only worked at Butler's for a month because the Prairie Club needed me, BAD! Also I went down and helped my mom with her Valentine's Day fundraiser at school, which was really fun I love doing that every year. As for Justin he fed cows, haha and we finally told everyone that we were pregnant! It took a couple days, big families but it was so exciting I think even he had fun.

March: I love March, because of March Madness so Justin and I both made brackets and we both did really good until a certain Kentucky game....boo. Molly had her bridal shower and I got to help out with that, it was really cute shower. The coolest one I've ever been to, ooohh now I really want those hot dog things, yumm. She had a carnival themed bridal shower, it was awesome and very brightly decorated which was nice since it had snowed like 5" the night before. Marshall came home for spring break and we got to spend time with him and that was really fun. Frostys opened for the season, that's pretty sad when the highlight of someone's month is when a restaurant opens up. Also we went to our 20 week ultrasound, and that was pretty gross. I might post the pictures on here, maybe. But seriously their bad, you can't tell what anything is and the baby looks lumpy, our 16 week picture is a million times better. Justin was a little bit busier at work this month, haha. This was the start of calving season for them, as far as I know they didn't lose any. But they did have at least one set of twins. But probably the most exciting thing we did this month was go down to Lincoln for a few days and we got his ears fixed. Sure he complained everyday when I had to give him his medicine but now there is no more complaining at all, not that they hurt, not about the medicine, nothing it's great!

April: So far for April all we've done is Prom, Post Prom and Molly's Bachelorette party oh and worked. Justin is still calving and getting ready to start the busy season of ranching. I'm trying to get the Prairie Club ready for opening, I still have to; hire a front desk staff, get them trained, train my new boss on our software, establish policies and how we want the front desk to run this year while taking at least a dozen new reservations a day and I have a week to do it. But I love it, in fact both Justin and I are happy with our jobs, which makes life so much sweeter. All of us including Georgie and Kaedo can't wait for spring! I'm so excited for Easter, my parents are coming to visit and I get to be the Easter bunny this year. I've made lots of cool things, but you'll have to wait till after Easter to see what I did. Also at the end of the month it's my parent's 25th wedding anniversary and we are all going to a concert in Omaha. I should probably make them something for that too......


Well that in a nut shell is what Justin and I have been up to these past few months. Hopefully I will stay up to date and won't have to do this again, but sometimes we get so busy and time seems to slip away from us.

Prom

This year Justin and I volunteered to help with post prom, well actually what really happened was this. I volunteered us and also promised Molly that I would be her PD for her bachelorette party. At the time I didn't know that both events were for the same night, whoops. So Justin was a little mad at me because he didn't want to help with post prom in the first place and now he was stuck doing it alone. But between you and me I think he had fun, haha.

Anyways so the Friday before prom we helped set up the 4H building, Justin carried in all the heavy games, tables and things like that. And I put up decorations and helped make the prizes look good, so technically I did help. Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of post prom or the decorations but the theme was "Night of the living dead" or something like that. It pretty much looked like a Halloween party. While the prom's theme was "A red carpet affair", don't see how those two go together but whatever. Justin did however manage to get some good pictures of the "promenade". What did you do this year for spring break?
Did you go some where warm, or to a beach maybe? Or did you go on a Man vs. Food tour, like my little brother did. Well whatever you did I hope it was fun and I invite you to take a look at what our spring break looked like this year.

Because you know there is an over population of glass bottles. We are just doing our part to help population control.

I don't know who's shooting is better, Marshall's or mine, hehe.

Oh I just wanted to add that the baby loves to be awake all night, but slept the whole time we were out shooting.

Kaedo also went along for the fun! We found out that he isn't gun shy, which is good, don't think he'll ever be a hunting dog though. He'd be more likely to be friend the deer, not a whole lot of bite in this dog.

We also went prairie dog hunting, because they are over populated as well, and I killed 2!!

I was so excited because I shot one of them in the neck so he looked perfect, you'd of thought he was a fake prairie dog he was so well intact. Not Justin's though.....there was prairie dog guts everywhere.
